If its an 80s disco party you are planning then we have professional 80s DJs in London. Highly experienced party DJ Jim was performing at disco parties throughout the 1980s and knows what were the best (and worst) 80s dance floor fillers and what will really get the retro 80s music party going today. Unlike many mobile discos we have the first hand 80s DJ experience and are not simply playing the tracks in the order they appear on a 80s music compilation CD. We know what's a hit and what's a miss and what will work in an 80s dance music party.

A general 80s cheesy pop party will include pop hits from 80s boy bands like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Wham. Electro and new wave sounds from Depeche Mode, Human league, and soft cell are also great 80s party floor fillers. If your tastes lean more towards 80s club and soul music then you cant go wrong with D-Train, Luther vandross or Alexandra O'neil.

Other 80s music styles include Two Tone, Ska, Mod, Regae, Rock, New Romantic and Gothic. Most 80s parties include a mix of everything, but with a whole decade of solid gold pop to pick from we always ask our clients to provide a list of their favourites, so we can hone in preferred music styles and artistes.

Although the 1980s was the decade of classic pop tunes there was also some music in the UK charts that was less than perfect pop. We have made a short list of the dodgy 80s music that we would defiantly not recommended.
